AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SERVICING
Automatic transmissions need flushing & servicing every 40,000kms. Most automatic transmissions fail due to internally overheating. This is usually a direct result of poor maintenance. This service involves connecting the transmission flushing machine to the automatic transmission lines in your vehicle & flushing system with new transmission oil. This process cleans the transmission filters & galleries in the valve body. This service will help extending the life of your transmission & in most cases providing smoother gear changes.
Approx. cost between $150.- to $220.-
CAMBELT/TIMING BELT
A cambelt/timing belt is situated in the front or side of your engine behind the plastic cambelt covers. This belt has been designed to reduce friction & generate more horse power than previous component called the Timing Chain. This belt should be changed on most Japanese vehicles every 100,000kms or 5 years (whatever comes first) or every 60,000kms on some European vehicles. In some engines there are 2 belts, a cambelt/timing belt and a balance shaft belt.
Approx cost $400+GST.
